My dad turned 57 in April, so we had a special birthday dinner (much of which he grilled himself!) for him last weekend. My mom made two cakes to be sure everyone had their favorite kind. :) My dad's was chocolate with cherry icing--so delicious. The girls love their Granddad so much. It's been wonderful having him and my mom living close by for this past year. They're moving down to the beach soon, since he just got a neat new job down there, and we're soooo going to miss being able to see them so often. But hopefully we'll be able to visit them at the beach pretty often.
